♦ Synopsis

Single father Kakushi Goto draws ecchi manga for a living; worried that his daughter Hime would freak out if she ever found out, he swears never to let that secret be revealed.

Kakushigoto tells the story of a father and daughter living side by side, maintaining their peaceful existence as the father attempts to preserve the relationship. However, there is a saying: “there are no secrets that time cannot reveal.” In time, Hime must learn the reality behind the things she took for granted as she grew up.

Kumeta published a four-page introduction of the slice of life comedy series in Monthly Shounen Magazine in November 2015. The manga began regular serialization in the magazine in December 2015. Kodansha published the 11th volume on March 17.

A television anime series produced by Ajia-Do began airing on April 2. Funimation is simulcasting the series with English subtitles. The company also plans to stream an English dub, but it has been postponed indefinitely due to the effects of COVID-19.
