‘Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair’ to be held in September

The official website for the Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair confirmed on Aug 5 that it will take place at the Miyako Messe convention center and Kyoto International Manga Museum on September 19 and 20.

As of Wednesday, 39 companies and organizations plan to take part in the event. As in previous years, the event will have an exhibition of manga and anime works, stage events, art workshops, merchandise stores, art seminars, a job fair, and family-friendly events.

Saturday, September 19th to Sunday, September 20th, 2020


Miyako Messe (main venue)/9:00-17:00 (until 16:00 on 20th)

*Admission until 30 minutes before the end

Kyoto International Manga Museum (Venue 2) / 10:00-18:00

*Admission until 30 minutes before the end

Toei Uzumasa Movie Village (Special venue) / 10:00-17:00

*Admission until 1 hour before the end



Priority admission ticket: 2,000 yen (tax included)

Advance admission ticket: 10:00~15:00 admission 1,200 yen (tax included) / 15:00 or later admission 1,000 yen (tax included)

Same-day ticket: 10:00 to 15:00 admission 1,600 yen / 15:00 or later admission 1,400 yen

Kyoto International Manga Museum

Admission (only on the day ticket): Adults 900 yen (tax included) / Junior high and high school students 400 yen (tax included) / Elementary school students 200 yen (tax included)
