Adult Swim’s Toonami to Air ‘Special Anime Short’ on July 25!

On July 23, the official Facebook account for Adult Swim‘s Toonami block revealed that it will air a “Special Anime Short” on July 25 at 12:30 a.m. EDT (effectively Sunday). The short will push back Paranoia Agent, the show that is currently in the 12:30 a.m. time slot, by 10 minutes.

Toonami’s Facebook post says, “Show announcements, sneak peeks, and more! It’s all happening this Saturday night at the Toonami Edition of the Adult Swim Con, starting at midnight. Plus, we’re showing exclusive clips and episodes both online and on-air. The start times will be a little different than normal, but it will be a fun night! Check out the on-air lineup below and sign up for Toonami Edition at adultswimcon.com!”

Toonami will have the following schedule on that day:

12:00AM – Dragon Ball Super
12:30AM – Special Anime Short
12:40AM – Paranoia Agent
01:15AM – Mob Psycho
01:50AM – Black Clover
02:25AM – Ballmastrz
03:00AM – Naruto: Shippuden

The programming block’s Facebook account teased show announcements and sneak peeks, as well as exclusive online and on-air clips.

The Adult Swim Con event’s website will have a Toonami Edition of the event, and it will include behind-the-scenes looks at the Blade Runner — Black Lotus and Uzumaki anime. The event runs from Thursday to Saturday.
