As you probably know, the Corona Virus situation in Japan is worsening day by day and it has forced many Animation Studios and Publishing houses to stop working for the right reasons.
Consequently, it has affected many currently airing series like One Piece, Boruto, Black Clover, etc.
Now recently, The Promised Neverland’s studio has announced that the season 2 of the anime which was scheduled to air from October 2020 has been postponed to January 2021.
Also, the re-run of season 1 which was scheduled to broadcast from July 9th, 2020 has been postponed to October 2020.

These changes have been made in view of the current crisis going on in Japan due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.
The anime series The Promised Neverland is based on the manga series of the same title, written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. The anime television series adaptation was announced in the 26th issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump on May 28, 2018. The series premiered on January 11, 2019 and airs on Fuji TV’s late-night Noitamina anime programming block. The series is animated by CloverWorks and directed by Mamoru Kanbe, with Toshiya Ono handling series composition, Kazuaki Shimada handling character designs, and Takahiro Obata composing the series’ music. The first season ran for 12 episodes.
