An official website opened on Monday, revealing an original TV anime titled Sore dake ga Neck. Centred on modern-day communication, the anime will be helmed by live-action director Noboru Iguchi (Aku no Hana, Nuigulumar Z). The series will air on October 13 at 2:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo.
Set in a convenience store that seems to be everywhere, through the appearance of a convenience store clerk who does not talk properly, while raising problems with the way of modern communication, we will approach the secret of the mysterious hero Muto.
Iguchi will helm the series at Toho Interactive Animation (TIA) in cooperation with studio Aqua. Kaneyoshi is credited with the original character design and Saki Kuniyoshi is in charge of series composition and script.
Aketoshi Yamasaki, Reina Fujisaki, and Hiroyuki Sakai are producing the anime with Masaya Kuramoto as chief producer. Shinobu Uchida and Akira Funada (Ninja Collection) are credited for planning the original series.
