‘Maōjō de Oyasumi’ Anime’s Video Unveils Opening Song, October 5 Premiere

The official website for the television anime of Kumanomata Kagiji‘s Maōjō de Oyasumi (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) manga posted the anime’s second promotional video on Thursday, Sept 3. The video reveals and previews the anime’s opening theme song “Kaimin! Anmin! Syalist Seikatsu” by Minase Inori as her character, and also reveals the anime’s October 5 premiere date.


The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on October 5, on AT-X on October 6, and on BS TV Tokyo on October 7. It will begin streaming on U-NEXT on October 5.


Mitsue Yamazaki (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?Tada Never Falls in Love) is directing the series at Doga Kobo (The Helpful Fox Senko-sanMonthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun). Yoshiko Nakamura (Kabukibu!Hiiro no Kakera – The Tamayori Princess Saga) is in charge of the series scripts. Ai Kikuchi (New Game!How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) is designing the characters. Sumie Noro (Tada Never Falls in LoveHow Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? episode director) is the assistant director, Chiaki Nakajima (Yuruyuri – Happy Go LilyLove Lab) is the sub character designer, and Yukari Hashimoto (March comes in like a lionMr. OsomatsuSarazanmai) is the composer. ORESAMA will perform the anime’s ending theme song “Gimmme!”

Kumanomata launched the ongoing manga in Shogakukan‘s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in May 2016. The 14th volume shipped in Japan on April 16.
